5.3 End Connection Details
- Socket Weld (SW): Bore diameter and depth per ASME B16.11.
- Butt Weld (BW): Bevel preparation per ASME B16.25.
- Test & Inspection (API 598)
- Shell Test Pressure: 23.4 MPa (hydrostatic)
- High-Pressure Seat Test: 17.0 MPa (hydrostatic or pneumatic)
- Low-Pressure Seat Test: 0.5 – 0.7 MPa (air)
- Test Duration & Procedure: Strictly in accordance with API 598.
- Marking & Supply
