- Features & Options
- Operation: Standard lever handle with locking device.
- Anti-Static Device: Optional (Required by API 608).
- Blowout-Proof Stem: Standard design.
- Fire Safe Design: Optional (Requires API 607 certification).
- Important Note
ASTM B62 (C83600) is a copper alloy typically used for low-pressure applications. While technically possible, using B62 for Class 1500 high-pressure service is highly unusual and requires strict engineering verification to ensure the material’s allowable stress meets the ASME B16.34 requirements for this pressure class. For high-pressure Class 1500 applications, materials like ASTM A105 (Carbon Steel) or A182 F316 (Stainless Steel) are more common and recommended unless there is a specific reason (e.g., corrosion resistance in low-pressure systems) for using bronze.
