1. Product Description

This is a high-quality Y-type strainer designed for the protection of pipeline equipment such as pumps, valves, and flow meters. It is manufactured from stainless steel to remove solid particles from liquid or gas media. The butt weld ends ensure a permanent, leak-proof seal when welded into the pipeline. The “Y” pattern design allows for a compact installation and easy maintenance with low pressure drop.

• Design: Compact Y-pattern design ideal for horizontal or vertical pipelines (flow direction downwards).
• Material do corpo: Full Stainless Steel construction (CF8/CF8M or forged equivalent) providing excellent corrosion resistance.
• Connection: Butt Weld (BW) ends conforming to ASME B16.25 or EN 12627, suitable for high-integrity welding.
• Screen: Perforated or mesh screen in Stainless Steel for effective particle filtration.
• Maintenance: Easy access to the screen via a threaded or bolted cover plug without removing the strainer body from the pipeline.
• Blow-off Connection: Optional side drain plug for flushing out debris.
