TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
Product: DN80 – PN40 NRS Globe Valve
Material: Stainless Steel
Type de tige : Non-Rising Stem (NRS)
- General Description
This Non-Rising Stem (NRS) globe valve is designed for DN80 (3″) PN40 service. The NRS design features a stem that rotates but does not move vertically, resulting in a compact overall height—ideal for installations with limited overhead space such as underground pipelines, pits, and pump rooms. Constructed from stainless steel, the valve offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications including water treatment, chemical processing, steam systems, and oil & gas services.

- Caractéristiques principales
- Non-Rising Stem (NRS): The stem rotates within the bonnet without linear movement, reducing the valve’s overall height. This design is ideal for underground installations, valve pits, and locations with limited headroom.
- Stainless Steel Construction: Provides excellent resistance to corrosion, erosion, and high temperatures. Suitable for demanding environments including chemical, marine, and steam applications.
- Globe Valve Design: Offers superior throttling capability and positive shut-off compared to gate valves. The flow path creates pressure drop that allows precise flow control.
- Bolted Bonnet: Facilitates easy in-line maintenance and repacking without removing the valve from the pipeline.
- Integral Seat or Stellite Hardfacing (Optional): Provides extended service life in high-temperature or abrasive conditions.
- Anti-Static Design (Optional): Available for applications requiring static charge dissipation.

- Notes
- NRS vs. OS&Y: The Non-Rising Stem (NRS) design is recommended where vertical space is constrained. For applications requiring visual stem position indication, an Open Stem & Yoke (OS&Y) design may be preferred.
- Sens d'écoulement : For optimal shut-off performance, the valve should be installed with pressure under the disc (flow entering below the seat). Verify direction arrow on the valve body.
