This 2‑piece floating ball valve features an A105 carbon steel body constructed from a main body and an end piece joined by bolts. 4.1 2‑Piece Construction Advantages

6. Installation & Maintenance Notes

6.1 Installation Precautions

• Flow direction – Bidirectional; installing according to the body arrow is recommended to maximize seat life.
• Flange installation – Use appropriate gaskets (spiral wound recommended). Tighten bolts evenly in a cross pattern.

6.2 Maintenance & Repair

• Packing adjustment – If slight leakage occurs at the packing, carefully tighten the packing gland. If leakage persists, replace the packing.
• Seat / ball replacement:

1. Close the valve and depressurize the line
2. Remove end piece bolts and separate the end piece
3. Extract ball, seats, and stem assembly
4. Replace worn components and reassemble in reverse order

Remarks:

1. This valve is suitable for general service applications. For high‑temperature (>200°C) or highly corrosive media, consider metal‑seated or special alloy versions.
2. For actuated versions (electric or pneumatic), an ISO 5211 top mounting flange (F10 / F12, etc.) is available.
