- Product Features
- Metal Seated Design: Hard-faced seat and ball (Stellite, Tungsten Carbide, or Hard Chrome) provide exceptional wear resistance, high-temperature capability (up to 500°C+), and resistance to abrasive media.
- 3-Piece Construction: Swing-out design allows for easy in-line maintenance; seats, ball, and seals can be replaced without removing the valve body from the pipeline.
- Nipples End Connection: Factory-installed nipples (threaded or socket weld) provide a compact, ready-to-install solution, eliminating the need for separate pipe nipples and reducing potential leak points.
- Floating Ball Design: Ball is pressed against the downstream seat under pressure, ensuring tight shut-off; the spring-loaded metal seat ensures consistent contact even under low pressure or thermal cycling.
- High Temperature Capability: Metal-to-metal sealing allows operation in high-temperature applications where soft seats (PTFE, PEEK) would fail.
- Blow-out Proof Stem: Stem is designed to be retained within the body even if the gland nut is loosened under pressure.
- Anti-Static Device: Spring-loaded ball/plunger ensures electrical continuity between ball, stem, and body to prevent static spark build-up.
- Fire Safe Design: Compliant with API 607, ensuring secondary metal-to-metal sealing in the event of fire damage to primary seals.
Remarks:
- Material Options: Available in A105 Carbon Steel (for non-corrosive high-temperature services) or F316 Stainless Steel (for corrosive services). Specify material grade when ordering.
- Seat Material: Confirm required seat hard-facing material based on temperature and media abrasiveness (Stellite, Tungsten Carbide, etc.).
- Nipple Type: Confirm if NPT threaded or Socket Weld nipples are required.
- Locking Device: Lockable lever handle is available upon request for safety and security.
