- Installation & Selection Notes
- Thread Sealing: Use appropriate thread sealant (PTFE tape or pipe dope) on male pipe threads during installation.
- Flow Direction: Install with flow direction matching the arrow on the body (typically flow below the seat).
- Wrench Flats: The valve body is equipped with wrench flats for proper installation. Do not use the handwheel as a lever for tightening.
- Special Conditions: For high-temperature steam or thermal oil applications, verify packing material suitability.
