1. Lifting (Piston) Type Design: The disc lifts vertically within the body, providing a guided, stable operation that minimizes wear and ensures positive sealing.
2. Forged Construction: ASTM A105 or F316 forged body provides superior strength and reliability for Class 600 high-pressure applications.
3. Socket Weld Ends: Provides a permanent, leak-free connection suitable for high-integrity piping systems.
4. Compact Design: Short face-to-face dimensions (per API 602) make it ideal for tight piping layouts.
5. Automatic Operation: Prevents reverse flow without external actuation; disc closes automatically when flow reverses.
6. Horizontal Installation: Lifting check valves are typically installed in horizontal pipelines with the bonnet vertical (upward) for proper operation.

Remarks:

• Material Options: Available in A105 Carbon Steel (for non-corrosive services like water, oil, steam) or F316 Stainless Steel (for corrosive services). Specify material grade when ordering.
• Installation: Ensure the valve is installed with the flow direction arrow oriented correctly and the bonnet facing upward (vertical) for reliable disc operation.
• Spring-Assisted Option: For vertical or low-flow applications, a spring-assisted disc can be provided to ensure prompt closing.
