- Installation & Maintenance Notes
8.1 Installation Precautions
- Flow direction – Install according to the flow arrow on the body (flow under the disc).
- RTJ flange installation:
- Inspect flange grooves and ring gasket surfaces for scratches or debris before installation
- Ensure the ring gasket is properly seated in the groove
- Tighten bolts evenly in a cross pattern to the specified torque
- Air supply – Ensure clean, dry air supply; install an air filter regulator lubricator upstream.
8.2 Commissioning & Operation

- Speed control – Adjust opening/closing speed with flow control valves if needed.
