- Product Features
- Y Pattern (Oblique) Design: The seat and stem are angled at approximately 45–60 degrees to the pipe axis, significantly reducing flow resistance (lower pressure drop) compared to standard globe valves while maintaining good throttling and shut-off capabilities.
- Bellows Seal: Fully welded stainless steel bellows provides a hermetic seal, eliminating fugitive emissions and ensuring zero stem leakage. This is critical for steam, thermal oil, and hazardous media applications.
- Raised Face Flanged Ends: Standard RF flanges ensure reliable, leak-free connections compatible with ASME or EN piping systems.
- PN16 Pressure Rating: Suitable for low to medium pressure applications commonly found in HVAC, steam distribution, and industrial processing.
- Hard-Faced Trim (Optional): Stellite hard-facing on seat and disc surfaces provides excellent wear resistance and tight shut-off for demanding services.
- Backseat Feature: Allows for packing replacement under pressure (when valve is fully open), enhancing safety and reducing maintenance downtime.
- Low Fugitive Emissions: The combination of bellows seal and secondary graphite packing ensures compliance with stringent environmental regulations (ISO 15848-1 optional).
- Versatile Material Options: Available in carbon steel (WCB) for general service or stainless steel (CF8/CF8M) for corrosive media.

- Y Pattern Advantage: The angled design minimizes flow turbulence and pressure drop, making it ideal for applications requiring continuous flow with occasional throttling.
- Bellows Material: For high-temperature steam applications (above 300°C), confirm bellows material suitability (316L is standard; Inconel available for extreme conditions).
- Flange Standard: Confirm whether ASME B16.5 or EN 1092-1 flanges are required for the specific installation.
